"Out of Darkness" is a collection of freely improvised music that was recorded in December of 2020. For the most part, each piece explores a theme or set of themes without any prior rehearsal or written music. The only exception is that "greenish miles" includes some melodic and harmonic ideas from the jazz standard "Blue in Green" before venturing into a new environment.
